A hardy annual or biennial which prefers a well-drained soil and full sun. They may come back in the spring or new plants may sprout from the seeds. May need staking to prevent wind damage. Pinch the tip main stem early in the season to produce bushier, shorter plants less likely to need staking. Flower colors include Pink, Purple, Red, White, Yellow and Black generally bloom through June-August.
