Begonias are an excellent annual with profuse flowering and outstanding foliage that compliments the flowers. Sun to partial shade in hotter climates some afternoon shade is necessary. Prefers rich organic soils that are moist and well-drained. Red, pink and white flowers. There are many new varieties on the market. Depending on the variety, Wax Begonia will grow up to a foot tall with a six to 12 inch spread.
