Glowing red foliage turning to brilliant red in the fall beautiful upright form, better heat tolerance than 'Bloodgood'. Prefers moist well drained soil conditions with good organic matter. In climates with high summer temperatures Japanese maples will require after noon shade to prevent leaf scorch.
