Frost Tollerant Plants, Osteospermum?
Vernon Haddeland asks:
Question
Is the flower, Osteospermum frost tolerant?
Answer
Osteospermum is not frost tolerant plant most varieties are hardy to zone 10 and some to 9. In colder climates I suggest growing Osteospermum as an annual. For a comparable flower and growth habit to many Osteospermum try Leucanthemum, some varieties tolerant to zone 3.
