Snapdragon are a very cold tolerant annual which do best during the cooler times of the year and come in a wide range of color and size. Cultivars fall into 3 different categories tall, great for cut flowers and boarders up to 3', intermediate, good as a bedding annual up to 12-24", dwarf, great for planters, small beds and as edging, 8-12". Flowers come in a wide range of colors white, purple, red, pink, rose, yellow, orange, black and bronze. Prefers well-drained moist soil conditions more on the alkaline side. Full-sun to light shade, protect from wind plants can be brittle and may damage easy.
