blue angel holly

barb1d asks:

Question

I have 2 blue angel hollys that do not appear to be producing blooms. Do I need to plant a male in order to get blooms?

Answer

No, you should get flowers regardless however, blue angel holly are dioecious, with male and female plants so you would need both for fruit production. The flowers on blue angle holly are not particularly showy but generally plentiful. Most holly are grown for their showy red or orange fall fruit.
