Answer

A few ants or millipedes are not going to harm your Bonsai I would be more concerned with insects feeding on the foliage or stems (Mealy bugs, aphids, scale etc.). It sounds like the place you purchased the bonsai from was keeping the plant outside or in a green house where harmless insects are no big deal however, since it sounds like you have decided to keep your Carmona or Fukien Tea indoors, insects maybe an issue. Head to your local garden center and ask for some help picking out an indoor insecticide since its your bedroom I might stick to the natural formulas.
