Confederate jasmine
Mgeorge86 asks:
Question
I have a potted confederate jasmine plant that's developed a coppery black spot on the leaves. What is it? I'm moving and want to bring it with me. Can the limbs be trimmed for moving?
Answer
The spots on your Confederate Jasmine (Trachelospermum jasminoides) are simply a form of leaf spot most likely caused by a bacteria or fungus. The leaf spot should have no lasting effects on the health of the jasmine.
Confederate Jasmine is a very hardy vigorous plant, go a head nad do some pruning before the move.
