Is Sept. 26 in midcoast Maine to early to divide daylilies?
Answer
Im assuming from the climate in Maine you are growing cold hardy dayliles which can be divided in fall or spring. For best results divide the rhizomes when the plant has gone dormant. Evergreen daylilies should be divided in spring.
