Japanese Fir

Jason asks:

Question

Can you cut out a small secondary tree that is growing off the root of the primary tree and transplant it?

Answer

It could be possible if the secondary plant in question has a root system of its own. If there is no separate root system you run the risk of damaging both shoots.
