tulips

Dan asks:

Question

Care after Mothers Day, can they be planted?

Answer

Bulbs can be planted later in the season but will need to be kept between 40-45 degrees (or in your refrigerator) for at least four weeks before planting. Tulips do best after a long cold winter. If you are talking seeds well those should be sowed in the fall and will generally take 5-7 years to produce flowers.
