Vegetable garden wont grow

asks:

Question

My vegetables are not growing very well, what fertilizer do i need to use?

Answer

It really depends on the type of vegetables you are growing all have different requirements. For example squash prefer formulas with high nitrogen at the beginning and higher phosphorus after they flower tomatoes on the other hand like high phosphorus, too much nitrogen will reduce the fruit yield. I would suggest heading to a garden center near you most will have a good selection of organic and non-organic blends. I prefer the organic even though they generally need to be applied more often. Most brands cary a selection of formulas with a specified crop in mind.
