A popular annual for boarders and around stepping stones. Covered with dense delicate white, pink or purple blossoms throughout the growing season. Full sun to partial shade needs well-drained soils conditions to thrive. Cut back during the summer to encourage flowering. Leave plants in the ground over the winter to allow self-sown seedlings to settle. Can be grown as an perennial but losses form and becomes leggy in the second year, best as an annual.
