Erythronium revolutum is a clump forming bulbous perennial. The 6-8 inch dark green leaves have a dark brown mottled pattern with wavy margins. In mid-spring 12 inch tall stems bears 4 lilac flowers with yellow centers and yellow anthers. Once established Erythronium revolutum may self seed. Plant bulbs 4 inches deep in fall, prefers moist well-drained, fertile, humus-rich soil. Plant in partial shade.
