Fast growing tree has few branches at an early age. Once branches, ascending limbs are gnarled and twisted. In June, 2 long tube-like white flowers appear in 4-8 panicles. Fruit is a long persistent pod. Great for xeriscape, it is very tolerant and adaptable. Long bean shaped pods nearly 2 feet long develop.
