Compact spreading plant with a profusion of white flowers in early summer. Best in full sun in moist, well-drained soils, but is very adaptable to poor soils, clay soils, dry soils, soils of various pH, heat, drought. Like other spirea snowmound takes well to heavy pruning. Blue-green foliage, the white flowers 1" diameter cover the arching foliaged stems of the shrub in late May.
