Tree Dahlia are native to Central America where they can grow up to 30 feet tall, in most gardens settings it tends to max out at around 15 feet. Tree Dahlia can be grown either as a shrub or as a perennial in cooler climates. It blooms in late fall to earlier winter, flowers are light pink or white with yellow centers and 4 to 6 inches in size. The Tree Dahlia is great for a seasonal specimen and can be grown in either sun or shade, if grown as a perennial it is best to cut back to around six inches after flowering.
