The dark green leaves of this Euonymus turn rich red in fall, pink-red in shady locations. The twigs have flat, corky wings which disappear with older growth. Generally slow growing upright vase habit in youth, becoming spreading rounded with age. Prefers moist, well-drained soil however this plant is very tolerant of all soil types good and bad as long as there is decent drainage. Prefers full sun to light shade.
