Sapphireberry is a deciduous medium to large shrub native to Asia, the leaves are small, ovate and finely toothed. Commonly grown for it's showy blue berries Sapphireberry also puts on an impressive flower show in the spring. The berries ripen in early autumn attracting birds for several weeks. Sapphireberry is best grown in well-drainded soil in full-sun to light-shade.
