Member of the Little Girl series of the National Arboretum. Ann was selected especially for its late bloom (mid-April - early-May) avoiding the hazards of late frost. Has lightly scented reddish-purple, 7-9 inch flowers that emerge from beautifully tapered buds. Best grown in normal garden soil and full sun.
