Interesting tree has dense, redbud-like foliage. Pyramidal as a young tree, becomes broader with age. Although variable, fall color attractive - shades of yellow to apricot but primarily yellow in the Midwest. Requires ample moisture during the establishment period. 2004 Plant of Merit.
