Small open, multi-stemmed tree.Seven to nine-lobed palmate leaf of light green most of the year. Fall colors range from scarlet red and orange, starting early lasting long. Prefers shade but can be grown in full sun in most climates. Prefers rich moist humus soil. Native to the pacific northwest.
