Full sun prefers moist, deep, fertile soils for best growth but very adaptable to many types of soil will tolerate poor drainage. Leaves are 8-15" long with 5 to 9 leaflets. In fall leaves turn yellowish with a layer burgundy or purple color, a very showy fall display. The largest specimens may reach 90'.
