Questions & Answers
Azaleas
Question
One of my Azaleas has sprouted yellow coloured leaves with brown spots- the others are fine. What is wrong with it and how can I fix it?
Answer
Hard to say the exact cause however it is most likely from lack of nutrients mainly nitrogen. Have your azaleas been fertilized this year?
Another cause could be overly dry condition, azaleas prefer moist well-drained soil conditions.
Keep in mind it is natural for azaleas and other evergreen plants to drop their old leaves and replace them with new, I would only be concerned if the plant begins to yellow and drop far more than it is replacing.
