Blue Stars Lily - Aristea Ecklonii
Kirsty asks:
Question
Aristea Ecklonii produces bright blue flowers in spring. I would like to know if I should cut off the flower stems once the plant has finished flowered during summer? Thank you
Answer
Yes, I would go a head and remove any spent stalks from the Blue Stars Lily as they occur. Removing spent stalks and deadheading is a good practice for most flowering annuals and perennials.
