Driveways and Trees
Elizabeth asks:
Question
How close to driveway can you safely plant a redbud tree?
Answer
Redbuds are small, slow growing trees with less than invasive roots planting one near a driveway should not be a problem. That being said I would recommend planting a redbud tree no closer than 4 feet. 4 feet will give you enough room to properly prepare the planting hole and not affect car doors.
