katydav6@ asks:
Question
Can I plant shelling peas near flowering sweet peas or will they cross pollinate and make the peas inedible?
Answer
Yes, you can plant the flowering sweet pea and shelling peas near one another. The two plants are different species Lathyrus odoratus, and Pisum sativum respectively. There should be no issues between the two.
