I have 2 holly bushes that have never been pruned, which they need desperately. How do I shape them now since they are about 4 or 5 years old?
Answer
At this stage in their life it is most likely to late to go in and shear the plant your best bet is to don your favorite gardening gloves and get in there. Remove or cut back the limbs one by one until you have the shape you desire.
