How to do the Cutting

Would you be so kind telling me the name of the plant and also give me some advice on the cutting process (when to do it & how to do it) please?
Answer
I am not exactly sure what species of vining plant it is but the majority of vines are very vigorous and can be pruned to regularly. I would recommend pruning this vine to suit your needs i.e. to enter your shed, cover your fence, attract butterflies.
Where are you located I maybe able to narrow down the species?
