Can I take cuttings of penstemons that have overwintered in cold greenhouse?
Answer
Cuttings of penstemon should be taken in early summer of softwood or semi-ripe wood in mid-summer, however you can divide the penstemon plants in the spring just as you would any other clump-forming perennial and small shrubs.
