Swale
Sanders asks:
Question
I sprayed out the weeds and grass in swales and left ornamental grasses for better water percolation of water does that sound normal?
Answer
Assuming the swale really does provide a place for water to go it is important to have some sort of vegetation growing. The plant roots will create poor space and increase percolation, reduce runoff as well as absorb water. Sounds good to me.
