What is Brassica carinata?
Answer
Brassica carinata common name Abyssinian cabbage or Ethiopian mustard is native to Ethiopia where it is used as an edible leaf vegetable or for the oil derived from it seeds. In recent years there has been research conducted to use Brassica carinata biomass for biodiesel, the seeds are also used for other non-food oil based products. The plant it's self is a very heat and drought tolerant species.
