wisteria tree
Regina Heisler asks:
Question
My wisteria tree did not bloom. Did I trim it at the wrong time? It had blooms early last spring before folage. This year no flowers. It is very full. My husband wants tio trim it. Please advise, Thanks Gina
Answer
Wisteria bloom on the new growth each spring. Pruning should be done in the late fall or winter which will encourage new growth and plenty of flowers in the spring and summer.
