A slow growing succulent with rosettes that can reach 18 inches in diameter, Most plants are solitary, but occasionally a plant will offset heavily. Requires little water and will tolerate low temperatures to 12 degrees and extreme heat. In colder climates the plant can be taken in doors during the winter but should be kept out side during the summer. Flowering may take up to 40 years, a 10-15 foot flower stalk with pale cream flowers after which the plant dies.
