Best grown in well-drained soils in full sun to part shade. Open panicles of trumpet-shaped, peach-apricot flowers each to 3 inches long with yellow throats, blooms on new growth in early June, with random blooms continuing throughout the summer. Climbs by aerial rootlets, which adhere to the flat surface of walls and fences. A vigorous grower, but not as aggressive or as invasive, flowers are attractive to Hummingbirds.
