Overwintering Plants In Pots
I live in Maine and am moving this winter. I potted a few perennials, ornamental grasses, and arborvitae to move. What is the best way to store until spring? An unheated shed (they would freeze in the ground anyway), a cool garage, or outside in the cold and snow? Thank you.

Saving An Evergreen Tree
I moved an evergreen tree that is about 20 yrs old and the landscaper told me he couldn't get the (BALL) that should have come up with the rest of the surrounding dirt. He replanted it but all the needles are brown and brittle, inspite of my constant watering and plant food on regular basis. What can I do to save this tree?
Thank you.

Plants Good For Las Vegas
I have a strip on the west side of my home between the house and the driveway. It is about 2 feet wide and 60' long. I am looking for perennials that will thrive and survive the conditions here. We will water using a drip system or sprinkler hose. We are partial to red, greens and yellow colors. We would consider plants or grasses, and perfer plants that look good year round. The plants can have variuos heights for accent. Do you have recommendations of 6 or 8 types in an area like this?

Rose Pruning In July
I had a beautiful flowering red rose bush that I pruned back in July when it was full of flowers. I noticed that since then it has not thrown out new shoots but, then I moved it to a new spot by some other rose bushes and it has not come back. In fact, it looks like all the wooded stems have gone brown and dry and there is nothing green and no leaves or new branches since July's pruning and the move. Will the bush come back or did I mistakenly kill this beautiful plant? Thanks

Roses & Yellow Jackets
I found yellow jacket nest in the roots of my rose bush and sprayed insecticide to kill the bees. Now the two main branches where the nest was is dryed out and gray, looks dead. Did I harm the plant and will the branches come back?
